A Message from Producers Catherine Burriss & Heather Castillo

Update November 13, 2018

Thank you once again for your support of our production of IN THE HEIGHTS and for your patience. We hope you are staying safe and finding some peace in these disturbing times.
With a determination and resourcefulness arising from an understanding of the power of theatre, and this show in particular, to heal and bring people together, and despite losing loved ones in the horrendous shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill and being evacuated from our homes due to the HIll and Woolsey Fires, the team of IN THE HEIGHTS at CI has found a way to add two performances:
-Wednesday, November 14 at 8pm (our new opening night)
-Sunday matinee on November 18 at 2pm (our new closing performance)
If you held tickets to cancelled shows, please reach out to the excellent Brown Paper Tickets box office customer service team 24/7 at 1.800.838.3006 option 2 or support@brownpapertickets.com to exchange or refund tickets. And please spread the word!
The cast, crew, and creative team of IN THE HEIGHTS have found a strength and solace in the community that we have forged through working on this show and that we hope to share with you. We look forward to seeing you in the audience soon.

IN THE HEIGHTS tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.
